The toys
- Dashing Dot: the classic red laser-pointer chase, free forever.
- Zippy Zap Dot: a high-visibility green laser-style target for feline eyes.
- Buzzy Bee: zips around, lands on flowers and buzzes in your hand. Catch it and it crawls off dazed.
- Mischief Mouse: scurries between boxes, climbs on top and dives through a crinkly tunnel.
- Sneaky Spider: scuttles, freezes, and hides under the blanket as a suspicious moving lump.
- Wiggly Worm and Jumbo Wriggler: fuzzy wriggling targets built for long, irresistible chases.
ScratchPost
Every player can post a photo of their cat. A human checks each one before it appears, then the whole TapCat world can browse, like and comment. The feed lives in the app and is mirrored, read-only, on the ScratchPost page.
Meet your kitty
New in 4.0: welcome your cat with their name, boy or girl, and a photo, and they greet you on the home screen. Add as many cats as live with you and pick who's playing. Sign in with Apple, optionally, and your kitties come back on a new phone.
Purr Simulator
A calm, realistic cat purr with slow breathing to follow, for a few quiet minutes of relaxation. For the human.
Safety note
Use TapCat with supervision. Avoid letting a cat bite, scratch or chew the device, and stop play if your cat becomes frustrated.
